Our services are designed to support individuals in a trauma informed way and remove barriers that could prevent people from accessing any of our services or programs. We recognize that their are often a multitude of challenges so every attempt is made to accommodate individuals . This is most often discussed in counselling as is a part of the initial intake process.

Our counselling is for women and gender diverse individuals who want to feel heard, respected, and supported in a welcoming environment. We meet you where you are, walking alongside you as you reclaim your voice and rebuild connection.
Our counselling services and advocacy program follows our mandate and supports individuals that have experienced either gender based violence or sexual assault, including children and youth. We also work as a referral source and can assist you with finding the best supports possible. Please connect with us to see if we are the right fit for you.

Please call, stop by our location or email our reception to discuss scheduling an appointment at our centre. You can self-refer or if you are receiving other services, your support person can also connect with us.

Building rapport, clarifying expectations and goal setting are some of the first steps when meeting with our counsellors. There is very often discussion around a safety plan for the client and their families.

Yes, but there are parameters and guidelines that we must abide by within the counselling profession. Harm to self, another individual or children is reportable to the proper agencies. This is discussed within the first session so that individuals seeking services are well informed.
Yes. Support groups are usually run twice per year and are a free service. Topics range from building awareness of gender based violence, creating healthy relationships, developing self esteem and forging new relationships within the group. Support groups are usually held on a weekly basis and there are usually 5 to 10 sessions depending on the topics and group size.
